Ellen has Chest Pains – 911 Called to the Studio

The always upbeat, cheerful Ellen hit a little snag this week.  During one of her producer meetings, the talk show star started to feel some chest pains.

911 was called and the EMT was there to check things out.

She seemed to be fine and was not taking to the hospital but it was still big news.  That’s what happens when you are a superstar.

You or I eat White Castle for lunch and get heartburn, we go to the bathroom, Ellen gets indigestion and  a blog post on 1000’s of gossip blogs get written.

The good news is she’s healthy because the show must go on, not to mention she has just recently sold a show to NBC starring her wife Portia De Rossi.

The project will feature de Rossi as one of two dueling sisters, and will be written by Samantha Who? writer Donald Todd. Since producers Todd and DeGeneres have major comedy backgrounds and de Rossi worked with humor in acclaimed shows Arrested Development and Ally McBeal, the multi-camera project looks to have great potential.

As long as Ellen stays healthy, the money will keep rolling in!
