“The Talk” Adds Aisha Tyler and hits a Season High in Ratings

After sh*t canning Holly Robinson Peete and Leah Remini they have been searching for their groove.

In walks Aisha Tyler.  She was the second new co-host of the show.  Underwood was the first new co-host joining at the start of the second season.

Tyler is a comedian who currently has stable work as a voice in the animated series Archer.  She’s been on CSI, 24 and Friends as well as an author and an accomplished comedian.  She’s no rookie.

With her addition to the cast, The Talk hit a season high ending the week of Nov. 4th averaging 2.08 million viewers per day.

That just puts them on pace with last year when the show was just starting.  They averaged 2.06 million viewers at that time.

It’s almost starting from scratch.   After watching 3 episodes with Tyler, she is a nice addition to the cast. She comes across as intelligent and well spoken, but she is awful careful of what she is saying.  She understands how big a paycheck this could be for her, and she is going all in.

Underwood – the jury is still out.  So far…Loud, Brash, Ghetto…but that’s just my initial thoughts.
