President Obama Proves First Time was No Fluke as he sings ‘Sweet Home Chicago’ [video]

For all those who thought the first few words of Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together” was a fluke, think again.  Obie flexed his singing skills once again, this time singing the blues.

During a concert being played as part of the White House Concert Series, Obama grabbed the mic and rocked along with some true blues legends.

B.B. King, Booker T. Jones, Mick Jagger and Derek Trucks put on a concert in the East Room.  The concert will be aired on a PBS on Feb. 27th.  During the end of the show, Obama is in the process of thanking the superstars when Buddy Guy tries to get him to sing.  If you listen closely you can hear Guy talking,

“We were trying to get you to sing that, Because I heard you had sung Al Green, so you started something so you gotta keep it up!”

Obama is a ham, he tries to look like he’s not going to sing, but you can see he has all the intentions in the world of singing.  The band is still playing and Obama goes in….

“Come on, baby don’t you wanna go… Come on, baby don’t you wanna go…

Then B.B. King says –

“Back to that same old place”

And Obama ends it with a final,

“Sweet home, Chicago.”

Hands down the coolest World Leader….maybe ever.  Don’t believe me? See for yourself.
