Kim Kardashian Fulfills Promise and Donates Wedding Gifts…Plus Another $100K to Charity! So There!

Back when the announcement was made that Kim Kardashian was looking to make a profit from her 72 day wedding, and that she only married for the spectacle of it all, she promised to prove the allegations as false by donating the gifts to charity. She stated on her blog,

“There are also reports that I made millions of dollars off of the wedding, These reports are simply not true.”

In fact, as a thank you to everyone who attended her wedding and gave presents, I’ll be donating the money for all the gifts to the Dream Foundation.”

“I’m sorry if I have hurt anyone, but my dad always told me to follow my heart I believe now that I really am.”

She finally lived up to her promise and then some.  She not only donated $100,000 to charity, but she dropped another $100,000 just to shut up the naysayers for good.  For those who were generous enough to provide a gift, Kim sent out a personal thank you letter,  The top part was from her and read,

“I would like to thank you for your generous and thoughtful wedding gift.  It has taken me some time to pull everything together but I wanted to let you know that the money for every gift received by me at my wedding has been donated to the Dream Foundation. An organization that I am very passionate about.”

The Dream Foundation is the Make A Wish Foundation for adults. The Dream Foundation takes funds and helps to grant adults with life threatening illnesses dreams come true.  They wrote the bottom half of the thank you card..
