Leah Remini and Sharon Osbourne’s Twitter War – “Sharon got Me Fired From the Talk”

I knew I smelled a rat, and it’s Sharon Osbourne.   Apparently, I missed the Howard Stern show which she was on and basically admitted that she was the reason that Holly and Leah were fired.  I still think that was a mistake.  I quote my own post from August 16th, 2011:

Leah brought that ‘down to earth”, anti-snob, King of Queens swag. The chemistry they had not only seemed to work, but was very infectious. It will be hard to duplicate.

For the record, there is still a hole there.  The show is not bad…but it’s also not the same.

Leah took to twitter to set the record straight,

Sharon thought me and Holly were “Ghetto” (her words) we were not funny, awkward, and didn’t know ourselves.”

Then a twitter follower told Leah that Sharon was overheard saying that she missed Leah and Holly! Really!  Leah had a response for that as well,

“She only said that after ppl called her out on it. Acting. She said she was the reason we were let go. Howard Stern show.”

“Yes. She had us fired she told Howard Stern. Explains why she never called us back.”

After seeing these tweets, Sharon decides to defend herself, also going the twitter route,

This just makes Sharon appear guilty as charged.  Getting fired from a show that you help create and grow to the success it is today is not something that you get over quickly.  To make matters worse, everyone was like a family, (or at least pretended to be) and to know that this kind of backstabbing went on has to hurt like hell.  The least Sharon could do is own it.  Say, “Yes it was me, I made a business decision”, but don’t tell Leah to get over it when you are still getting a check from a show that she helped build.

Luckily Leah is now filming a pilot for ABC so we will see her again soon.   I Just hope the pilot gets picked up so we can see her more often.  Leah is rarity, Hot and Funny – we don’t get a lot of that on TV.
