Ricki Lake Sneaks Off and Gets Married for a 2nd Time to Jewelry Designer Christian Evans!

Now that’s how you do it.  No huge blown out affair, no helicopters above, no US Weekly photo shoot.  A quick trip to Southern Cal and  BLAM!  You are now husband and wife.

Ricki and Christian were dating for only a year before Christian popped the question while vacationing in Spain.  The two announced their engagement just 8 months ago and eloped on Sunday in Southern California.  A source told US Weekly that eloping was the plan from the beginning, stating,

“They were planning on doing it this way and didn’t want a big spectacle.  Ricki is so happy! She really found love again”.

Ricki Posted a picture of her in her wedding dress on twitter with the tweet saying,

“Yup, this is me.  Sadie Sadie married lady.  : ) : ) Love is in the air. Xo”

Ricki was previously married for 10 years to artist Rob Sussman whom she has her 15 year old son Milo and her 10 year old son Owen.  The marriage ended in 2003.  Lake thought she would never remarry, posting on her blog last year,

“I would always tell my inner circle, ‘I will never marry again.  Even if I meet Mr. Right, there is no need to make anything official’”

Like I always say, “Never say never!”.
