Kanye Folds Under Pressues of a Lawsuit, Changes the Name of “Theraflu” to “Way Too Cold”.

It’s only been a couple of weeks since Ye’ released “Theraflu”, the song where he professed his love for Ms. Kardashian, and now the company behind the medicine has spoken out.  Novartis stated,

“We in no way endorse or approve of the references or use of the image and likeness of Theraflu in this manner.”

Along with that statement came a threat of a lawsuit.

Likeness?  By what do you mean?  In case you have not seen the cover art, it’s a naked bust dressed in fur with a bottle of Theraflu as the head.

KANYE SWITCHES UP!

In response, Kanye buckled and renamed the single “Way Too Cold” and changed the cover to show a little bottle of milk where the Theraflu bottle used to be.  He announced the name change via twitter,

“I changed the name of the song THERAFLU to WAY TOO COLD and you can buy it now at KanyeWest.com.”

PETA STILL PISSED

With all the changing up, Kanye hasn’t done anything to appease PETA.  The cover art still has the bust wearing a mink, and the lyrics of the song still state,

“Tell PETA my mink is dragging on the floor.”

PETA’S response is,

“What’s draggin’ on the floor is Kanye’s reputation as a man with no empathy for animals or human beings.”

As much as PETA tries, we all know that’s not true.  Kanye’s reputation as a man is solidified: Millions in the bank and notches on his head board for Amber Rose and Kim Kardashian.  I might agree on the empathy part.
