Cameron Diaz Explains Why Boobies Really Sag? Wow – I had no idea!!
Cameron Diaz and her co-stars held one of many press conferences this weekend for the release of the upcoming movie What to Expect when You’re Expecting. As could be expected (Tee hee hee) many questions surfaced around pregnancy, infant care and birth. Heidi Murkoff the author of the book from which the movie originated, was on hand to lend details of her personal parenting experience as well as Jenifer Lopez discussing the delivery of her twins Max and Emme.
The highlight of this particular conference was Cameron Diaz. Out of nowhere she impressed reporters with her knowledge of saggy breasts!
At one point during the press conference she blurts out,
“Does anyone in here know why boobies sag?”
Naturally everyone says, “Gravity” , as this is also my personal experience.
Diaz then sheds some light on what she learned from visiting the Massai women of Africa. We’ve all seen the National Geographics of these African women with the tear drop boobies. Well there is a purpose…..and Diaz enlightens everyone….
“I was in Africa and the Maasai women after they give birth, they go right back to work a couple hours later. They just kind of strap the baby on their back and keep going. Well, when you have a baby on your back for a year and a half, when you’re nursing, what you have to do, you can’t stop working. What you do is you throw your breast over your shoulder and the baby is strapped to your back so it suckles.”
WHAT! …Wait, there’s more…..
Or, if you have the baby on your back and you spin it underneath your arm so the baby can take it behind and suckle while you still keep working,
So there’s an actual function for saggy t*tt*es. It’s because you have to feed your child. Isn’t that funny why we have boobs?
We have them so that we can feed our children. I know there’s a belief that you’re not supposed to feed your children with your breast milk but that’s what it’s for. It’s functional. It’s not just a trend. It’s functional.”
Now I’m good. I’m always looking for trivia info and that’s as good as it gets in regards to useless data. It feeds right into that dream I always have where I’m winning Jeopardy.
