Reality Star Joey Kovar Likely to Have Died from Mix of Viagra, Alcohol and Coke

The Real World Star Joey Kovar lost his widely publicized battle with drugs.  At only 29 years old, reports reveal that he probably died from an alcohol, Viagra and cocaine combo!

Joe left MTV’s The Real World to seek drug help and was also on celebrity rehab.  It appears that both shows did not do enough to help the troubled Kovar.

It appears the Reality star was visiting a female friend in Chicago by the name of Stacey Acheterhof.  He was high on coke and wanted to get more, but Acherterhof talked him out of it and into staying at her place for the evening.

After a few drinks Joey took some Viagra and the two got intimate but reports say that they did not have sex.  After falling asleep Achterhof awoken and found Lovar with blood coming out of his nose and ears and called 911.

She reported that she personally had seen Joey taking Adderall and Xanax as well.  Joey was dead when the paramedics arrived.

I wasn’t too surpised by this news, if there were any one in the Real World cast member that I would classify as a danger to himself, Kovar would be the one.

A close friend Joey’s Jared Degado,  says that he suffered from depression and anxiety, which he was being medicated for, but he feels those pills got out of hand as well.  He says,

‘We would be in meetings and I would see him have an anxiety attack and he would take his meds for that and then he would start to get really lethargic. Then he would take the Adderall to perk up.

‘When you mix Adderall and prescriptions it is really hard on your heart.’

Kovar’s family said Joey had been sober for about six months and the aspiring actor was working on a new project.  They had no idea that he was using.  In fact his brother David Kovar said,

Everyone is in shock right now. He seemed fine, he was happier and he was doing better,”

The autopsy that was performed on Kovar was inconclusive; the toxicology report will now be used to confirm his cause of death.  Joey had a three year old son and a two year old daughter.
