Just in case you didn’t believe that 40 was the new 25, take a close look at this movie poster for the new Wolverine Movie. GEEZUS!!
Women are going crazy right now and all the alpha-males are doing crunches! James Mangold’s, “The Wolverine” will hit theaters next summer on July 26th.
Hugh Jackman had a look that he was going for, and from the photo it looked like he might have achieved his goal. He compared it to De Niro as Max Cady in Cape fear. For those who don’t know, De Niro was ripped!
“I had this image in my head of De Niro in that remake of Cape Fear. You were terrified of that character from the moment he took his shirt off and you saw all the tats; you know he was this coiled spring that would rip your head off, no matter how nonchalant he acted. That’s who Wolverine is. I always thought of him as being lean, animalistic, not necessarily pretty. He has all this berserkery, and he’s terrifying when he loses all reason in blind rage.”
Jackman has achieved “Besrekery” for sure. If the screenplay can match the visual we see here, “The Wolverine” will be everything we expect it to be and maybe more. The full length visual is below.
