OOPS! TV Guide Mistakes RHOA’s Sheree Whitfield for Dead Drag Queen Sahara Davenport!
That’s a bad day when you are honestly mistaken for a drag queen. Yesterday TV Guide.com ran a story on the death of a drag queen named Sahara Davenport (birth name Antoine Ashley). Davenport was a contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race, a reality show where Drag Queens compete to be crowned America’s Next Drag Superstar.
While running the story, instead of posting a picture of Sahara Davenport they posted one of Real Housewives’ of Atlanta’s Sheree Whitefield. Talk about an embarrassing moment for the Diva.
She took to her twitter account and kindly asked TV Guide.com to remove the photo. TV Guide replied and ran a correction blurb under the story that apologized for the error.

In the defense of TV Guide and to the merit of Sheree – I have to admit….I’ve seen some Drag Queens that would give the hottest women a run for their money. Not saying that Davenport was in that category – just saying that it’s possible.
