The Jeff Probst Show

The Jeff Probst Show Gets Cancelled After Just one Season!

Don’t feel too bad, Jeff still has Survivor and that show has been really good to him.  Really good.

The Jeff Probst show will run until the end of he season before joining Anderson Cooper and the recently announced Ricki Lake on the cutting room floor. CBS TV Distribution released an announcement regarding the 1st season cancellation,

“We believe Jeff is an incredible talent, and that he and his dedicated producing team delivered quality episodes throughout the season. Unfortunately, the audience isn’t there to support a second year. We are grateful to the entire staff, our affiliate partners and advertisers for their ongoing support of The Jeff Probst Show,”

Jeff was not shy about expressing his disappointment but still maintained his sense of humor,

“I’m super bummed but extremely proud. The truth is all shows come to an end. Ours just ended a decade sooner than we had hoped.”

Earlier in the Season Probst had to let some staff go in efforts to keep his show alive but alas it was not enough.

It appears that Katie, Steve Harvey and Trisha Goddard will live to see another season.  They have all been green lighted to move forward

Probst began hosting his 26th season of Survivor on Wednesday. He gets $200K per episode so don’t feel too bad for him.  His net worth is estimated at $40 Million. I think he’s going to be just fine.
