Are Beliebers Finally Tired of Justin? The Pop Icon Gets Booed For Showing up Almost 2 hours late.

Bieber continues to make news as being more of an irritant then a pop idol.  This time he pissed off fans in London when he started a concert nearly two hours late.

Bieber’s concert was at the O2 Arena and was packed with close to 20,000 teenie bopper fans. Their parents, who didn’t care to stay for the concert dropped their children off in hopes to pick them up and have them home in time for school the next day.  Other fans took trains to see the concert.

Unlike a Madonna concert in the states, Bieber’s tardiness caused many young kids dreams to be crushed.  Many families had to leave after just one or two songs as the last trains were scheduled to arrive during the 10:00 PM hour.  Hundreds of kids left in tears.

One man said that a refund would not be enough to repair the psychological damage done to his girls,

“I am absolutely livid. I don’t think a refund would compensate the emotional damage he has done to my children. Giving money to a 10-year-old who couldn’t see their hero is not enough, not when they have school the next day. The girls were so angry and upset at Bieber by time they left.”

Jaden Smith, Cody Simpson and Carly Rae Jepsen opened up for Justin and performed until 8:50.  Twenty minutes passed their scheduled time.  The Arena played Michael Jackson songs to try to appease the crowd until Bieber came on, but it did not help.

One fan said,

“They were playing Michael Jackson song, after song, after song – it was so annoying.  Everyone was on edge and as more time passed, everyone was getting more worried and booing.”

Bieber was scheduled to start at 8:30 PM but did not take the stage until 10:20.  Parents begin to show up to pick their children up and Bieber was just getting on the stage.  One parent who had to leave early as he took the train, had to leave before the show even begin.  He paid $605 for the three tickets.  He tweeted,

“Disgusting!! Waste of my time and money… never again.”

There has been no apology from Bieber yet to his fans but the Arena issued an apology via their twitter page:

“Justin Bieber is now on stage and apologizes for the lateness of his show,”

The Arena also made contingency plans for transportation to insure that fans made it home.  After the concert started they sent out another tweet letting everyone know that some late night transportation was still available,

“Sorry to all the Justin Bieber fans for the lateness of his show tonight. The Tube will still be running when the show finishes.”

The Bieb gets a chance at redemption as he has three more shows in London, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.  Let’s see if he can pull his act together….and get it on stage on time!!
