Michael Jordan And His Legal Team Deny Paternity, But He Really Has No Proof.

Michael Jordan is shrugging off the paternity suit that was filed last week by Pamela Smith.  The NBA legend says that she is pulling the same stunt that she pulled a few years ago.  He expects history to repeat itself.

Jordan’s rep, Estee Portnoy released a statement to the press,

“Public records show that the paternity of the child was established in a prior case in this same court many years ago and that Michael Jordan is not the father. He also filed a counterclaim seeking sanctions for the false claims made against him. It is unfortunate that well-known figures are the target of these kind of claims. Michael Jordan will vigorously defend himself and his reputation.”

It didn’t stop there.  In the official response to Pamela’s lawsuit they actually attached her divorce filing. In the documentation it listed that there was one son born out of the marriage, listed the child in question and signed by Smith saying that everything is true and correct to the best of her knowledge.

Smith does not have her own attorney, but she does have a publicist.  On her behalf a statement to the rationale behind her actions was released to the media,

“Pamela had no choice but to support her son and his desire to forge a relationship with his father,”. “That’s why she is now speaking out and prompting Michael to do the right thing.”

This will be headed to trial on March 12th.  This is different than the Justin Bieber incident.  There is romantic history between the Jordan and Smith, and if she can provide evidence that the two were intimate around the years surrounding her son’s birth, MJ might just have to concede to a test.

I don’t see why these guys just don’t get it over with. If he’s not yours, then just pee in a cup and be done.  Jordan is worth $650 Million and counting.  This is after cutting his ex-wife was given $168 million in his divorce.  If you had a son or someone who thought you were their father wouldn’t you want to know the truth?

I asked Jordan that question and got the same response I did last time.  Jordan was like,
