Cody Simpson: Leave Justin Bieber Alone!

16-year-old Australian pop singer, Cody Simpson is not happy with the way the media has been portraying Justin Bieber. Cody has been on tour with Bieber in Europe and apparently the two have become very close. Simpson claims that everything is just being blown out of proportion,

“Stuff that’s really not that bad is made a big deal. People like to do that about everyone. You just gotta deal with it. [You have to] be as sensible as you can. At the end of the day, we’re teenagers!”

Cody told E! News.

The “stuff” he is referring to would be the excessive pot smoking, collapsing on stage, hitting a cameraman, canceling a show in Portugal…etc. He claims that they are all just misunderstandings and that the media scumbags are just looking for a story, and you know what? He’s probably right, at least for the most part. The media loves taking a minor incident and turning it into the next big news story. There could be a picture of Justin Bieber shaking a dude’s hand and there would probably be at least one story saying, “Is Justin Bieber Gay? Revealing photo inside!”

So, we can kind of understand where Cody is coming from. He’s just looking out for his, friend! His very rich and popular friend that will surely ask him to be on future tours if he keeps sticking up for him like this. You’re a smart man, Mr. Simpson. And for you all Bieber fans out there who are worried about how he’s doing, well don’t be! Cody wants all the Bieber fans out there to know that their lord and savior is doing just fine out in this big ol’ scary world,

 “He’s great. He’s very good. I was just with him like three days ago and he’s doing well. We went out and explored Paris. He’s a really good guy.” Simpson said in the interview.

Rest easy, Beliebers. Your hero is doing just fine! Oh, and he is single now, right? So, that means that you all might have a chance with him! You just have to really impressive at a meet and greet one day. I suggest baking him cookies or something like that. Guys love it when girls bake things for them, it not only feeds our hunger, but it also feeds our desire to have women cook for us. We’re terrible creatures, but for some reason you still love us.
