Chris Brown Facing Jail Time?

Chris Brown might be in some trouble yet again. A week ago, Chris Brown was involved in a very minor fender-bender on the mean streets of L.A. The singer hit a Mercedes with his car while he on his way to the recording studio with his girlfriend, Karrueche Tran. Brown was pictured taking photos of the accident with his girlfriend and the person he ran into. It appeared like everything was under control, and cops were not called to the accident.

However, TMZ is reporting that Mr. Brown might be under investigation for a possible hit and run. The reports claims that the singer refused to give his driver’s license number to the other driver. Sources say he also gave her the wrong insurance information. LAPD is reportedly trying to contact Chris to question him about the incident.

Of course, Brown’s people are saying these reports are completely false. Sources tell “Extra” that Chris gave her the correct information after the incident. His lawyer even attempted to contact the other driver after the accident, but she reportedly hung up on him. If Brown did indeed give her false information, he could find himself in violation of his five-year probation. That could land the singer in jail, but it is highly unlikely.

So many things are wrong with this story. First of all, why would Brown give her the wrong information? I’m sure that she knew who he was, plus there were cameras documenting the entire thing! Brown might have anger issues, but I don’t think he is that stupid. Also, why would the lady hang up on his lawyer? That just doesn’t make any sense either. I think both of these sources are full of sh-t. Sounds like a story that is being blown out of proportion, but who knows…I could be wrong.
