Lea Michele Talks For The First Time After Cory Monteith’s Death

Lea Michele was probably the closest person to Cory Monteith. They were in love and they worked together on the set of, ‘Glee.’ It was clear to everyone that they had a special bond, and it was also clear to everyone that Lea was doing everything in her power to keep Cory clean.

Ultimately, drugs and alcohol ended up taking the young actor’s life, but it wasn’t because he didn’t have the love and support he needed. Sometimes the addiction is just too strong to break.

Anyway, Lea had released a few statements via her publicist on the death of her boyfriend and co-star, but besides that she has remained silent on the his death. However, she broke her silence the other day by posting the following message on her Twitter account,

“Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support. Cory will forever be in my heart.”

They sure did look happy together, it’s such a shame that he just couldn’t get past the addiction. Let this be a lesson to all your curious teenagers out there. It’s better to just never try these drugs. You say it’s just a “one time” thing, but that hardly ever works.

It’s like eating an Oreo, you can’t eat just one.
