Watch: Ashton Kutcher Gives Motivational Speech At Teen Choice Awards
Ashton Kutcher might play a lot of dumb characters on screen, but don’t let that fool you. The 35-year-old actor is more than just that lucky pothead who got to make out with Mila Kunis for several years on, ‘That 70s Show.”
The veteran actor received the very special, “Ultimate Choice Award” during the Teen Choice Awards last night and he gave the best award speech of the night. After he joked about being the “old guy” in the room, he then went on to give some important life advice to all the screaming teenagers out in the crowd and at home,
“I believe that opportunity looks a lot like work. I never had a job in my life that I was better than. I was always lucky to have a job. Every job I had was a stepping stone to my next job and I never quit my job before I had my next job.”
He then went on to talk about how the sexiest thing in the world is being smart,
“The sexiest thing in the world is being really smart. And being thoughtful and being generous. Everything else is crap. I promise you.”

I have to admit, I like Ashton Kutcher a lot more now. Sure, most of those annoying teenagers in the crowd probably didn’t hear a word he said, but I bet you a few of them did. And that’s really all that matters, if he inspired at least one kid out there, then he did his job.
A clap for you, Mr. Kutcher.
