Hell’s Kitchen Winner, Ja’Nel Witt, won’t work for Gordon Ramsay after Testing Positive for Cocaine & Why I don’t believe it.

Hell’s Kitchen Winner, Ja’Nel Witt, won’t work for Gordon Ramsay after Testing Positive for Cocaine? Why I don’t believe it.

It was announced on the Hell’s Kitchen Facebook page, that Season 11 Winner, Ja’Nel Witt would not be taking the job at Gordon Ramsay’s Pub & Grill at Caesars Palace.  Ja’Nel also released a tweet confirming the news to be true.  She tweeted,

Due to personal matters, I will not be joining the team in Las Vegas, but I wish them continued success,”

This immediately sent Hell’s Kitchen fans into speculation and debate. First I heard all the fans of Mary and then all the fans of John say that not only should they get the job, but Ja’Nel should not have won in the first place.  Then I had to read all the reasons why professional internet trolls, thought  Ja’Nel didn’t take the job.

What’s the Truth?

TMZ to the rescue. …maybe.

TMZ reported that Ja’Nel wasn’t taking the job because she failed her drug test.  As you can imagine Caesar’s palace has a strict drug policy and the website reports that Janelle failed her test “miserably”.  They clearly say that Ja’Nel tested positive for cocaine and was quickly ousted by Ramsay and Caesar’s.

Ja’Nel SAYS THE RUMORS ARE FALSE – BUT STILL DOESN’T’ SAY WHY

After the TMZ story Ja’Nel attempts to set the record straight but only does half of the job.  She sent out a series of tweets to address the rumors:

JanelWitt Twitterr

I say half the job is done because until we know what the “personal matter” is, we will believe the negative.  That’s human nature.  As soon as the word “personal” is used we want t know.

One thing that everyone agrees on is that Ja’Nel will get the $250,000 salary.  That leads me to believe that she didn’t fail a drug test but there is something else going on. The $250,000 would go out door along with the job at Caesar’s.  Ramsay is too smart of a business man to have it any other way.  At least that’s what I think.  Right Gordon?
