Fergie Gives Birth!

Fergie and husband Josh Duhamel have finally had their first little baby together. The 38-year-old new mom gave birth to a little baby boy named, Axl Jack Duhamel.

Axl weighed in at a healthy 7 pounds 10 ounces. Fergie actually gave birth via a planned C-section at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. TMZ is reporting that Fergie is resting and recovering in one of the swanky V.I.P. suites that celebrities use all the time, most recently occupied by Kim Kardashian.

Fergie and Josh have been married since January of 2009 and this is their very first child together. They’ve been fairly quiet during the pregnancy, but Josh did talk to The Times about how excited he was to become a dad,

“I hear all my friends telling me about how fantastic it is and all the things that go along with being pregnant and the stages of it all. But until you’re actually going through it you can’t even relate.

Right now, we’re just fascinated by the whole idea there’s a baby growing inside of her. We’re fascinated by every single stage of its development at this point. We’re already feeling a real connection to it.”

Well, good for them! I am sure they’ll be extremely happy and excited for another week or two, and then they’ll probably start ripping their hair out. I imagine changing dirty diapers gets old really fast.
