CeeLo Green Cleared Of Sexual Assault But Charged With Something Else…

The good news is that CeeLo Green will be cleared of the charges of sexual assault. The bad news is that he will be charged with the felony of furnishing ecstasy, this according to law enforcement sources who talked with TMZ.

As some of you remember, a woman claimed that she and CeeLo went out to a restaurant. She claims that CeeLo slipped ecstasy in her drink and the next thing she remembers is being naked in his bed.

However, law enforcement sources tell TMZ that officials have questioned her story from the beginning. They have caught her lying about some stuff and they do not believe that CeeLo sexually assaulted her.

This is backed up by the fact that CeeLo was actually for the investigation. He wanted his name cleared and he actually encouraged them to investigate the allegations fully.

The D.A. will supposedly reject the sexual assault claims because there is simply not enough evidence to support them. However, he will be charged with a drug charge and sources say he could be arraigned as early as later today.

It is likely that CeeLo will just get probation because it is his first offense, which means he won’t be missing any time on The Voice. That would have sucked for all the people on his team. They would have had their coaching sessions behind a glass window.
