Chris Brown arrested, charged with felony assault in D.C.
Just in case you thought things were a little too quiet in Team Breezi land think again. Brown has not only been charged with felony assault but he has been actually taken into custody!
Reports say that Chris was in DC fresh from hosting a party at the Park and 14th night club. After the hosting gig, around 4:30 AM, outside the W Hotel Brown got into a verbal altercation with a man that reports say he did not know. Things escalated and Brown threw a punch hitting the man in the face. Current reports say that the man never fought back. As in he never threw even one punch!
Why would he….he just earned a big payday!! Can you say Cha—Ching!
The man who was struck was taken to a hospital and released and Chris and his bodyguard, 35 year old Chris Hollosy are currently in police custody. [more…]
For Brown this is a lot worse than assault. He is still on probation for the Rihanna beat down and this latest scuffle could see him with prison time of up to 4 years. The only thing that could save him is a self-defense claim which does not appear to be the case.
