Kanye West and Kim Kardashian Suing Youtube Co-Founder Over Leaked Proposal Video
Well, it wouldn’t officially be a Kardashian engagement without a little bit of drama, right?
The man who released the “secret” footage of Kanye proposing to Kim on the field inside AT&T park is now being sued by the couple. The man behind the video is Chad Hurley, the dude who founded Youtube and then later sold it to Google for $1.5 billion.
An attorney for the couple filed paperwork yesterday that claims Hurley “manipulated his way into the stadium.” The couple also states the following…
[more…]“Hurley proceeded to try to turn the event into one starring himself, broadcasting the images he knew were the exclusive property rights of someone else.”
According to the lawsuit, Hurley’s motivation behind the video was to promote his new site, MixBit. As most of you know, he first posted the video to MixBit and then tweeted it out to all of his followers.
Kanye and Kim are suing for unspecified damages because they claim the footage cost them a lot of money.
When will people learn? Only the Kardashians can make money off the Kardashians!
