F1 Legend Michael Schumacher In Coma After Terrible Skiing Accident
Some very sad news to report to you all today. The legendary Formula One driver, Michael Schumacher is in critical condition after a skiing accident in France.
Apparently, the 44-year-old was skiing with his son on Sunday when he fell and hit his head on a rock. He was quickly transported by helicopter to a local hospital. While reports claim he was conscious when help first arrived on the scene, they say he was comatose when he arrived at the hospital.
Surgery was performed and now the retired Formula One Driver remains in a coma. The coma is medically-induced and it’s uncertain if he will fully recover from the brain injury.

“We cannot predict the future for Michael Schumacher. He is in a critical state in terms of cerebral resuscitation. We are working hour by hour.”
The good news is that he was wearing a helmet, doctors say if he had not been wearing a helmet, he probably wouldn’t have even made it this far.
Schumacher will celebrate his 45th birthday on Friday and we can only hope he’s awake to celebrate it. He had just retired from racing last year, so it’s incredibly sad to see an accident like this happen.
We’ll keep you updated.
