Madonna In Trouble After Calling Her Son The N-Word On Instagram
Social media pages continue to get celebrities in trouble. This time, it’s the legendary Madonna who is having to apologize after using offensive language on her Instagram account.
The 55-year-old singer posted a photo of her 13-year-old son on Instagram. The photo, which has now been deleted, showed her son boxing.
She captioned the photo with,
[more…]“No one messes with Dirty Soap! Mama said knock you out! #disni–a.”
After receiving criticism for using the offensive hashtag, Madonna deleted the caption and wrote,
“Ok let me start this again. #get off of my d–k haters!”
And then after realizing that it would take more than a quick deletion for people to “get off her d—k” she decided to apologize in a statement,
“I am sorry if I offended anyone with my use of the N-word on Instagram. It was not meant as a racial slur…I am not a racist. There’s no way to defend the use of the word.
It was all about intention…It was used as a term of endearment toward my son who is white. I appreciate that it’s a provocative word and I apologize if it gave people the wrong impression. Forgive me.”
Well, that makes perfect sense! A term of endearment! That’s what all the cool moms are calling their children.
“Oh, my baby just got an ‘A’ on his math test. #disn—a.”
“My 10-year-old son just surprised me by taking out the trash without me asking! #disn—a.”
“Christopher ate all his veggies during dinner this evening. #disn—a #healthyeating.”
But seriously, maybe Madonna should think about taking a break from Instagram. This isn’t the first time she’s gotten herself in trouble.
