After Leaving North Korea, Dennis Rodman Checks Into Rehab

The pressure of trying to bring the world together through basketball was just too much for Dennis Rodman. The 52-year-old former NBA star checked himself into rehab.

Of course, Rodman has struggled with alcoholism for years now and he admitted to being drunk during that horrible interview with CNN.

His agent, Darren Prince, released the following statement to People,

“What was potentially a historic and monumental event turned into a nightmare for everyone concerned. Dennis Rodman came back from North Korea in pretty rough shape emotionally.

The pressure that was put on him to be a combination ‘super human’ political figure and ‘fixer’ got the better of him. He is embarrassed, saddened and remorseful for the anger and hurt his words have caused.”

His agent did not say which facility he was staying at or how long he would be there, but at least he is trying to get help. It’s clear he’s going through some confusing sh-t in his life right now.

I wonder if his best friend, Kim Jong Un, is planning on sending him flowers? Or maybe an edible arrangement?
