Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Apollo Nida Back Behind Bars.
While the drama on this season of Real Housewives of Atlanta is at an all time high, so is the real life drama behind the scenes.
On Thursday, Phaedra’s husband Apollo Nida was questioned by US Marshals and things didn’t go quite as well as he would have liked. He was charged with bank fraud and identity theft. Although the charges are not crystal clear, we do know that he was investigated by the Secret Service’s Counterfeit and Treasury check Squad. [more…]
We also know from the official complaint that Apollo was setting up fake companies to get access to people’s information which he then used to set up fake accounts. As the complaint states,
He opened fake bank accounts under those real names and funneled stolen U.S. Treasury checks and auto loan proceeds into those accounts.’
WHO IS GAYLA ST. JULIEN?
Basically she is a snitch – who set Apollo up.
Gayla St. Julien describes herself as Apollo’s right hand B*tch. She says that she was earning scraps compared to what Apollo was taking in. She describes the scheme in a little more detail. She said that Apollo would,
allegedly steal real people’s identities and have St. Julien pretend to be them to open bank accounts. She would then deposit fraudulent auto loan checks, stolen U.S. Treasury checks, stolen retirement checks issued to Delta Airlines employees, and checks in the names of real people that were owed unclaimed property from various state and federal government agencies, according to the criminal complaint.
I call her a snitch because the feds had St. Julien tape record conversations in which Apollo detailed many of his schemes. They used these conversations along with other evidence to obtain a search warrant for Apollo’s car where they found a bank credit card in the name of a fake dealership along with cellphones and a laptop.
WHY! WHY! WHY!
This makes no sense to me what so ever. As we all know Apollo did time in prison from 2004 – 2009…for the same damn thing! Auto Title Fraud. He is on probation in the state of Georgia so this could easily mean some serious time – as in 10 – 20 years plus.
Not only is this incredibly embarrassing for Phaedra who is seemingly defending Apollo’s past on every show, depending on how much she knew, she could possibly face charges herself.
