Beyonce’s Father Gets Dramatic Cut In Child Support Payment, Is Still A Terrible Father

Matthew Knowles can celebrate a small victory today. As most you know, Matthew has a 3-year-old son he has never met. In fact, some people claim he still denies the poor son is even his.

The mother of the child, Alexsandra Wright wanted to hit Matthew hard with child support payments. She was demanding to receive $12,000 a month in child support payments, but Mr. Knowles claimed he couldn’t afford those payments anymore.

He told the judge his yearly earnings dropped significantly after Beyonce fired him in 2011. The 63-year-old told the judge he only made $127,000 in 2013, which is abysmal when you consider the fact his monthly expenses are still over $51,000.

The judge reviewed all the information and agreed to cut his child support payments to $2,485 a month. That’s still a lot of money to us poor folk, but it’s a huge victory for Mr. Knowles.

Obviously, Wright’s family is upset about the cut in child support payments, but they’re even more upset that Matthew refuses to get involved in his son’s life.

Radar Online spoke with Alexsandra Wright’s brother.

“I find it kind of odd that somebody that’s proven as somebody’s biological father has never ever seen their son. And when they’re a wealthy individual, it’s odd that they would be a deadbeat dad. I just don’t understand it. I have a son. I love my son and I would go to the ends of the earth for him. I don’t understand.”

It’s certainly a sad situation for the 3-year-old. You might expect this from a 17-year-old boy who got his girlfriend pregnant on prom night. However, you would think a 63-year-old man would step up to the plate and take care of his child.

You know what should happen? Jay Z and Beyonce should adopt the kid. That would make for a happy ending.
