Fashion Designer and Mick Jagger’s Girlfriend, L’Wren Scott, Found Dead

Mick Jagger’s long time girlfriend, fashion designer and model L’Wren Scott, was found dead in her Manhattan apartment on Monday, March 17, 2014.

According to early reports, she was found hanged to death in an apparent suicide.

Scott’s last message was a text asking her assistant to come to her apartment. When the assistant arrived, she found the body of Ms. Scott handing from a doorknob by a silk scarf. She called 911 and Scott was pronounced dead at the scene.

At this time, police do not suspect foul play. No suicide note was found by Scott’s body.

Scott was a noted fashion designer who designed gowns for stars like Sarah Jessica Parker, Angelina Jolie and Nicole Kidman. She also did the costumes for several movies including Ocean’s Thirteen, Eye’s Wide Shut and Shine a Light, the rolling stone movie.

Scott met Jagger in 2001 and the two have been a couple ever since. Jagger has not released an official statement in regards to her death, though the star is reported to be devastated.
