Miley Cyrus Mourns The Death Of Her Favorite Dog, Cries While On Stage (VIDEO)
If you haven’t heard, Miley Cyrus suffered a great loss Tuesday. The 21-year-old singer’s favorite dog died. She announced the terrible news on her Twitter account Tuesday.
“I don’t wanna say it because I don’t want it to be real…But my precious baby Floyd has passed away. I am broken.” She wrote on her Twitter account. She also revealed that it was the “2nd worst day” of her life.
But Miley Cyrus is a performer, and the show must go on. She took the stage in Boston last night and dedicated Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide” to Floyd.
“It’s gonna be hard for me to sing this next song. I’m not sounding myself, I don’t feel myself. I’m sure you guys already know, but the reason that I’m so upset is my dog. I shouldn’t say he was my favorite, but he was my favorite, and he passed away. I just want to do a song for him. We used to always listen to Fleetwood Mac together. This is his favorite song…so I wanna do this song for Floyd. This song is ‘Landslide.'”

[more…]I can’t lie and say I know how she feels. I’ve never been that close to a dog. However, I do know a lot of people who treat their pets like children, so I can understand where she is coming from.
Feel better, Miley. This loss of yours is hard on all of us. We can’t make fun of you while you’re grieving!
