Amanda Bynes Free to Continue Tossing Bongs
Amanda Bynes’ infamous bong throwing case has been dismissed, thanks to the actresses good behavior.
Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Lori Petersen agreed to dismiss the charges and seal the case, after leaning that Bynes had entered drug treatment and stayed relatively trouble free since the arrest last year.
Bynes was arrested last year after residents of her Manhattan high rise complained that she was smoking pot in the lobby. When officers arrived at the 36th floor apartment Bynes lives in, she reportedly threw a bong out of the window.
Bynes has had a rough couple of years. Aside from the flying bong incident, she was also arrested for reckless driving after sideswiping a Los Angeles county Sheriff’s patrol car, and was sent for psychiatric treatment after starting small fire in driveway in Thousand Oaks.
Bynes hasn’t made a comment regarding the dismissal of the charges but here’s hoping she manages to celebrate without bong hits.
