Being Mary Jane Season 2 Super Trailer Released. You won’t be Disappointed.
With less than a week away, BET reminds us that ‘Empire’ is not the only Black TV drama worthy of social media buzz and water cooler talk. How quickly did we forget about ‘Being Mary Jane’?. Season 1 of the BET drama was everything we hoped it would be and season 2 appears to pick up where the last left off.
NO OMARI HARDWICK
No Omari, no problem. Hardwick went on to star in 50 Cent’s television series ‘Power’. He was the major focal point of Season 1, but was slowly written out and wrapped up nicely. Although I’m sure he will be missed, but that leaves room for new eye candy for the ladies. Gary Dourdan steps in…you know….that dude with the “eyes”? Old heads know him as Shazza Zulu from ‘A different World” but new heads know him as analyst Warrick Brown from CSI. He s a new love interest and is playing a civil trial attorney named Sheldon Armstrong.
For those who were fans of the story line of Mary Jane attempting to get back with her ex-David, then Season 2 will be perfect because that appears to be one of the major storylines.
The supporting cast from season one are all back. Lisa Vidal as Mary Jane’s producer, Richard Brooks as her brother and Richard Roundtree continues to show us what acting is all about as Mary Jane’s father.
The second season premiers on Tuesday, Februray 3rd at 10:00 on BET. Here is the super trailer!
