Watch: Find Out Why Kanye West Started Crying During BBC Interview

wes

Kanye West had a breakdown during an interview with BBC Radio yesterday. The rapper/fashion expert actually had to leave the studio for a minute to collect himself.

Why was Kanye crying? Was it cause he just got dunked on? That joke is going to be hilarious to like three people. Anyway, West choked up during the interview while talking about one of his mentors, the late fashion professor Louise Wilson. He talked about the last time he saw her in London at his favorite restaurant.

“And I think she knew that she was going to pass, and she just wanted to give me some words of advice moving forward, and she was asking me about my daughter, asked me about my wife…and she said, you know, ‘So many students, they don’t give it their all, and the problem is, soon as they do anything halfway good when they’re 2 years old, 3 years old, their parents clap.'”

She then looked at him and said, “Kanye, don’t clap.” And then Kanye explained that he didn’t know it would be his last time seeing her. That’s when the tears started coming down.

Check out the emotional moment down below. (starts at around 25:00)

This video is hilarious to me, but not because Kanye is crying. I’d never laugh at someone for crying. It’s actually refreshing to see him get a little emotional. I am laughing because the mental image of Kanye just staring at his daughter when she took her first steps is hilarious to me. Not smiling or clapping because she probably fell down a few times.

“Come on North! You can do better than that. How long have you been on this Earth? 10? 11 months now? Why are you wasting my time with this?”

Maybe we have finally figured out what is wrong with Kanye. It’s all the terrible advice he receives from his friends. At least we now know the only clapping coming from inside the West household is from Kim Kardashian’s booty.
