Jim Bob And Michelle Duggar Defend Their Son During Interview, Jessa And Jill Revealed As Victims

During a pretty painful Fox News interview, the Duggars talked about their son’s history with molestation. As you all know, it was revealed that Josh Duggar molested his sisters as a teenager. And thanks to a special teaser for an interview airing on Friday, we now know the victims were Jessa and Jill Duggar.

In the teaser clip, Jessa admits what her brother did was “very wrong” but she believes people are taking things too far.

I do want to speak up in his defense against people who are calling him a child molester or a pedophile or a rapist, some people are saying. I’m like that is so overboard and a lie really, I mean people get mad at me for saying that but I can say this because I was one of the victims.

Of course, Josh’s parents also defended their son in their interview with Fox News’ Megyn Kelly. Not only did they defend their son, but it also seemed like they were trying to put the blame on everyone else. They claim there is a personal agenda against them, and they’re even thinking about suing over the leaked juvenile record.

Jim Bob added that he believes the “attack” on their family was led by Springdale Police Chief Kathy O’Kelley, “She was getting ready to retire and said, ‘There’s a few things I want to do before I retire,’ I think I was on her list.” He then promised that “justice will be served,” which is so disturbingly hilarious.

Speaking of disturbing things, Jim Bob seems to believe that God really did work a miracle in his son’s life when he was 15-years-old…

He had just turned 15. And it was at that point he came into himself, and God really worked in his life. As a matter of fact, he broke. And he went and asked God to forgive him. He went back and asked those who he had offended to forgive him. But we felt like the last jurisdiction of who he needed to make things right with was the law.

I realize this shouldn’t be a religious issue. We should be focusing on the victims right now, but does it not bother anyone that there are families out there who punish with God? And I am not even talking about the Duggars right now. There are parents out there who truly believe being right with God is the only thing that matters.

I mean…really? Of course God is going to forgive! You know why? Because you are the one in control of God. You are God. When you pray and hear a little voice talking back to you? That’s not God. It’s your mind playing tricks on you. Don’t get me wrong, you can believe anything you want. I won’t lie, sometimes I pray to Gary Busey when I’m lonely at night, but I certainly wouldn’t go to him and ask him what I should do if I saw someone getting molested, because I already know what to do. I don’t need Gary’s help with that.

But of course, I am just full of sh-t. I am attacking this poor family because of their faith in God, at least that’s what Michelle and Jim Bob believe…

I know that every one of us have done things wrong, that’s why Jesus came. This is more about, there’s an agenda and there’s people purposing to bring things out and twist them to hurt and slander.
