Does Chris Brown Have A ‘Sizzurp’ Problem? Chris Brown Says No, But Photos Say…Maybe?

Things have been going well for Chris Brown lately. He seems to be a great father to his daughter Royalty, and he’s trying his best to get along with his baby mama, Nia Guzman. There was some bad blood between the two after their battle in court, but things appear to be fine after agreeing to co-parent.

In addition to being a wonderful father, he’s been working on a new album and staying out of trouble. Life is good for the 26-year-old singer, but now one gossip website is trying to bring him down again.

TMZ posted a story early Tuesday morning, claiming that Brown’s friends and family are worried about his alleged addiction to sizzurp, which is a drink mixed with prescription cough syrup, Jolly Ranchers candy and soda. According to their sources, his addiction has been growing stronger over the last few weeks.

They back up their claims by pointing out that Chris tested positive for codeine during the custody battle, and they also shared the photos you see below.

In the first photo, you can see Brown this past weekend at a pumpkin patch in Los Angeles. Next to his feet, there is a double-stacked red cup. Obviously, we have no way of knowing what was in the cup, but TMZ believes they have it figured out.

What makes them believe he’s drinking sizzurp? Because of video they shot a few weeks ago at a birthday party for Tyga’s son. In the video, Brown drinks from yet another double cup, while one of his friends has a bottle of codeine and soda. According to TMZ, they were mixing it in the parking lot.

Do these photos prove Chris Brown has an addiction to the drink? Of course not. TMZ probably noticed the cup in Brown’s Halloween pumpkin patch Instagram photo, and then remembered they had video from a few weeks back that matched up with the photo.

And then they thought, “There must be a story here! Let’s say he has an addiction! We’ll claim his family is worried about him or something. People will believe that sh-t!”
