Kid Rock Is ‘Beyond Devastated’ After Finding His Assistant’s Body Following Deadly ATV Crash
Some sad news to report today. Kid Rock suffered a big loss Monday morning. His 30-year-old assistant Michael Sacha died in an ATV accident on the musician’s property in Tennessee.
According to the reports, Sacha drove two people down the long driveway to meet an Uber driver just after midnight. Police believe Sacha crashed while riding the ATV back to the property. He wasn’t found until late Monday morning when Rock and a friend discovered his body on an embankment.
When news stations started hearing reports of a deadly ATV crash at Kid Rock’s property, they naturally wondered if Kid Rock was involved.
The 45-year-old singer posted the following message on his website to clear things up and honor his late friend/assistant.
“I am beyond devastated to report that my personal assistant Mike Sacha passed away today in an ATV accident here in Nashville. He was a member of our family and one of the greatest young men I have ever had the pleasure to not only work with, but also to become friends with.
I know I speak for us all in sharing my deepest condolences to his family. I can not imagine how they must feel. Myself, the band, our family, friends and co-workers are devastated over this loss. We were supposed to be back in Michigan today, but I am going to stay here with Mike until I can bring him home to his family.
We’ve already been contacted by the press asking if it was me who was in the accident, so I want to stop any rumors before they spread. I’m asking everyone to please respect our and his families’ privacy in this difficult time. RIP Mike. We will never forget you, my friend.”
Our thoughts go out to everyone involved. 2016 needs to end. It seems like we’re reporting deaths every single day now.
