The Daughter Of Michael Jackson Breaks Down In Tears Over Online Trolls, Talks About Suicide Attempt And The Bullies Attacking Sofia Richie! (VIDEO)

Four years ago, Paris Jackson tried to kill herself. At the time, no one knew the reasoning behind the suicide attempt. Was she still mourning the loss of Michael Jackson? Too much drama in her family? Pressure at school? No one knew.

But in a recent string of Instagram videos, the now 18-year-old daughter of Michael admitted she tried to kill herself when she was 14 because of the insane amount of hate she was receiving on social media: “When I was 14, I got so much hatred that, um, I tried to kill myself and then I took like a two year break from social media. Nothing changed.”

In the videos, she talks about how she doesn’t understand why people are so nasty. She talks about trying to ignore the bullies. Blocking the worst offenders, not reading the comments, etc…but she claims you just can’t escape it.

I don’t get why I’m such an easy target. I try to be nice to everybody that I meet. I give everyone a chance. I’m usually a trusting person. I try to be open with you guys about what I do on a daily basis. I share my life with you. I don’t hide a lot. I’m very public.

It’s not clear what sparked this emotional message to her fans, but it might have had something to do with all the hate Justin Bieber’s new girlfriend, Sofia Richie, is receiving. Apparently, Paris and Sofia have been friends since they were 12.

And according to Paris, she’s the sweetest girl in the world. She doesn’t deserve the hate.

I know I’m not the only one. F–king Justin Bieber went to a downward spiral because everybody that he dates gets so much hate. I have known his girlfriend Sofia [Richie] since I was 12 or 13. She’s one of the sweetest girls in the world and people are telling her to kill herself.

Sadly, this video won’t change anything. Celebrities have been trying to stop online bullies for years now. If anything, messages like this only fuel their hate. I’m not sure what the answer is, but I hope we find it one day.
