Steve Buscemi Steals The Show On Halloween, Dressed As His Own “Fellow Kids” Meme
We’re not going to slam you with a bunch of celebrity Halloween costumes. Most of them are not worth our time. That’s right, our time is precious! If you want to get our attention with a Halloween costume, you have to do something extra special.
And this year, Steve Buscemi did something special.
You all have probably seen this meme during your time on the internet. The “How do you do, fellow kids?”
The image comes from a character he played on ‘30 Rock‘ who tried (but failed) to blend in with a bunch of high school kids. From there, a glorious internet meme was created.
And much to everyone’s delight, Buscemi displayed a sign of respect to the meme by dressing up as the character for Halloween. Lucky trick-or-treaters snapped photos of him passing out candy in his Brooklyn neighborhood.
As you can see, he really committed to the look, skateboard over the shoulder and all.
One lucky 13-year-old fan and her friends got photos with the actor. She recognized him from the show ‘Miracle Workers‘
I was trick-or-treating with my friends. We weren’t sure if it was him at first. He told us that we couldn’t take a photo with him unless we guessed who he was supposed to be. We guessed … and then three of my friends got a picture.
That’s better than any candy. Even a full size Reese’s, and that’s saying something because on my worst day, I’d give up one of my fingers for a full size Reese’s.
