Billie Eilish Brushes Off Kanye West’s Ridiculous Demand Following Perceived Travis Scott Diss
Kanye West is dominating the headlines, and mostly for all the wrong reasons. The 44-year-old rapper, who legit believes he’s God’s gift to Earth, has threatened to pull out of Coachella if Billie Eilish doesn’t apologize to Travis Scott.
What’s going on? Well, during a concert in Atlanta last week, Eilish stopped her show to check on a fan who had fallen ill in the audience. The fan was reportedly having trouble breathing, so Eilish stopped the show until emergency officials could treat her.
After she was assured the fan would be okay, Eilish dropped this line, “I wait for people to be okay until I keep going,” which some people took as a shot at Travis Scott.
As most of you remember, 10 people died during Scott’s Astroworld concert last year, and many people believe he ignored cries for help from the crowd. Although, he maintains he had no idea what was going on.
In any event, West took Eilish’s comment to heart and went on his Instagram account, demanding she apologize to Scott. And if she didn’t, he’d pull out of Coachella, where she is also set to perform.
And yes, he once again wrote all this in caps:
COME ON BILLIE WE LOVE YOU PLEASE APOLOGIZE TO TRAV AND TO THE FAMILIES OF THE PEOPLE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES. NO ONE INTENDED THIS TO HAPPEN TRAV DIDN’T HAVE ANY IDEA OF WHAT WAS HAPPENING WHEN HE WAS ON STAGE AND WAS VERY HURT BY WHAT HAPPENED AND YES TRAV WILL BE WITH ME AT COACHELLA BUT NOW I NEED BILLIE TO APOLOGIZE BEFORE I PERFORM.
Lol, what? Why on earth would she need to apologize to the families who lost their loved ones? What an incredibly dumb thing to say.
By the way, the family of a nine-year-old girl who died at Astroworld, is calling out Kanye for trying to speak for them…
I think it’s just crazy, and I hate to use that word, but I think it’s ridiculous. She’s making sure that she is caring for the patrons at her concert, and I just think that’s crazy of Kanye to even let that demand come out of his mouth. I totally commend Billie Eilish for having that decency about her. I think what she did was wonderful, and I would love to tell her myself how brilliant and awesome she is for doing so.
As for Billie herself? Well, she commented directly on Kanye’s post, writing, “Literally never said a thing about Travis. Was just helping a fan.”
And that’s all she needs to say. An apology? For what? FOR WHAT, KANYE? What a ridiculously irritating human being.
