Good Guy Post Malone Wishes Fan With Autism A Happy 21st Birthday In Sweet Clip!
Post Malone might look like a tough guy. He’s covered in tattoos from head-to-toe, but underneath it all, the dude has a really kind heart.
The 26-year-old rapper/singer-songwriter was enjoying dinner at Matsuhisa Restaurant in Beverly Hills when a table sent him a bottle of sake. Post, being the good guy he is, went over to thank the people at the table.
And sitting next to that table was Nicole Schumacher and her just turned 21-year-old son, Andrew, who has autism. He’s a huge Post fan, but has trouble speaking, so his mom introduced him, telling Post that Andrew was enjoying his first beer.
Post introduced himself to Andrew, smiling and shaking his hand. He then tried to start up a conversation, asking him what kind of beer he ordered. Schumacher told Post that Andrew knew all his songs, “That’s so sweet,” Post said, before adding, “Have fun, but not too much fun.”
TMZ reports:
Andrew’s mom tell he has a hard time speaking, and rarely are strangers as patient and kind with him as Post.
Mom and son hail from Canton, Ohio … they were in town visiting her other son who works in L.A. … so this surprise meet and greet was the icing on the cake.
In other good guy Post Malone news, he donated a signed electric guitar to help abused children in Utah, which is where he currently resides.
The proceeds from the auction of the guitar will be donated to the nonprofit Camp Hope Utah, which mentors children and teens impacted by domestic violence and trauma.
Good on ya’, Post.
CHPD is helping the Salt Lake District Attorney’s Office raise money for Camp Hope Utah sponsoring abused kids. Post Malone donated this signed Fender Squire guitar to help raise money. If you’re interested in making an offer email an offer to: CampHopeUtah@ch.Utah.gov pic.twitter.com/eUqiHzp9JX
