Harry Styles Jokes About Alleged Chris Pine Spitting Incident During Concert In New York

By now, you probably know all about the alleged spitting incident between Harry Styles and his ‘Don’t Worry Darling‘ co-star, Chris Pine. And if you’re anything like me, you’ve analyzed the video for hours trying to think of logical conclusions.

Well, we do have some developments. The other day, a rep for Pine denied the allegations, claiming the rumors are absurd and Styles most definitely did not spit on their client.

This is a ridiculous story — a complete fabrication and the result of an odd online illusion that is clearly deceiving and allows for foolish speculation. Just to be clear, Harry Styles did not spit on Chris Pine. There is nothing but respect between these two men and any suggestion otherwise is a blatant attempt to create drama that simply does not exist.

This was enough to convince some people it didn’t happen, but not everyone. Some people truly believe Styles spit on Pine.

And while Styles hasn’t addressed the incident in a formal setting, he did joke about it during his huge concert at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, September 7.

Wonderful to be back in New York, I just popped very quickly to Venice to spit on Chris Pine. But fraught not, we’re back and our job tonight is to entertain you and I promise, we are going to do our absolute very best.

So there you go. Personally, I don’t think he spit on Pine. I will admit that it looked like it, primarily because of Pine’s weird reaction, but I think something else was going on.

And we’re sure Pine will address it during a late night talk show appearance and we’ll all collectively go, “Ahhhh, that makes sense. Yeah, I can see that.” 

That being said, I’m sure there are thousands of people out there who would pay Styles lots of money to spit on them.
