Megan Thee Stallion Takes Stand In Tory Lanez Trial, Says She Wishes He Would Have Killed Her!
Megan Thee Stallion’s career hasn’t been the same since she accused Tory Lanez of shooting her foot back in 2020 after a party in the Hollywood Hills. For some reason, a lot of male rappers in the industry (and their fans) have decided to back Lanez and act as if Stallion is making the whole thing up.
There have been some wild accusations tossed around and she’s faced a lot of scrutiny, which doesn’t make a lot of sense considering she was the one who got shot!
Anyway, the 27-year-old artist took the stand on Tuesday in the assault trial. She testified that she felt “shock” and “hurt” and saw blood on her feet after Lanez shot her following a party at Kylie Jenner’s home.
She told jurors that just after she was shot, Lanez offered her $1 million to keep quiet. She testified that Lanez, 30, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, made the offer because he was on probation, according to CNS. She said she got back into the vehicle with Lanez and two other people because she was wearing a thong bikini and felt her manager would know what to do if she could contact him.
Police stopped the vehicle a short time later and when questioned about her bleeding feet, Megan told the officers she had stepped on broken glass.
She was then transported to the hospital where doctors removed bullet fragments in her feet. “I couldn’t walk for a while. I still have nerve damage,” she told the court.
But still, that physical pain doesn’t compare to the emotional pain Megan has been dealing with.
As terrifying as the actual ordeal was, she says, Megan described how the aftermath has been, perhaps, even more difficult … noting that her speaking up against Tory has put a target on her back in a male-dominated rap industry, where guys are prone to take Tory’s side by default. ‘I wish he would’ve just killed me if I knew I’d have to go through this.’
It’s a pretty sad situation. It’s hard to believe some people truly believe she’s making this whole thing up. Maybe some things aren’t clear, but the whole damn thing? She’s really doing all this based on nothing? Nah. Don’t buy that.
Lanez has pleaded not guilty to the charges. If he’s convicted, he could face more than 20 years in prison. But his attorney, George Mgdesyan, believes his client will be set free.
It’s been 2½ years almost. Mr. Peterson has patiently waited for his day for trial. And here we are. I believe once everybody’s heard parts and pieces of the case, once the whole case comes about, I think we’re confident the jury will find my client not guilty.
