Tristan Thompson Forced To Pay Maralee Nichols Nearly $10k A Month In Child Support!
Tristan Thompson first tried to deny that Maralee Nichols‘ 1-year-old son, Theo, was his. He was still with Khloe Kardashian when Maralee broke the news to him, so he was in his “deny, deny deny, deny, deny!” phase.
But then he later admitted to cheating on Khloe (for like the 5th time) and accepted that the baby was his.
Ever since then, he and Maralee have been battling it out in court, and it looks like they just reached an agreement in the paternity settlement. According to the reports, Thompson will pay Maralee $9,500 a month in child support, in addition to covering a large portion of her legal fees.
Maralee was awarded full custody, and while no firm visitation plan has been set, Tristan does plan to be apart of his son’s life. He will also be listed as the baby’s father on his birth certificate, which I totally understand. If I’m paying $10k a month for something, I want it in writing that it’s mine!
Tristan’s lucky he only has to pay $10k a month. After all, his contracts in the NBA have totaled around $100 million throughout his career, but right now, he’s an unsigned free agent, which means he’s not currently bringing in any income.
You’ll remember, when Maralee first went public with the pregnancy news, she claims Tristan offered her $75k to keep her mouth shut. Unsurprisingly, she did not take that deal.
Heck, she’ll make more than $75k from him in this year alone! SMART MOVE, MARALEE!
