An Emotional Kim Kardashian Says Co-Parenting With Kanye West Is Really Damn Hard
No one would ever assume co-parenting with Kanye West would be easy, but just in case you needed convincing, Kim Kardashian was on Angie Martinez’s IRL podcast this past week, and she talked all about the struggles.
Kim talked about how she does her best to protect Kanye, especially in front of the four kids they share together, ranging from age 9 to 3.
I definitely protected him and I still will in the eyes of my kids, for my kids. So, in my home, my kids don’t know anything that goes on in the outside world. It’s hard. S–t like co-parenting, it’s really f–king hard.
She broke down in tears as she talked. As much as we love to hate on Kim and her family, it’s clear she is a great mother, so we can only imagine how difficult it is trying to raise four kids with Current Kanye.
The 42-year-old billionaire then reflected on the impact of her own relationship with her late father, Robert Kardashian, Sr.
I had the best dad. And I had the best memories and the greatest experience and that’s all I want for my kids. As long as they can have that, that’s what I want for them. So, if they don’t know things that are being said, or what’s happening in the world, why would I ever bring that energy to them?
It does appear that Kanye doesn’t bring the same energy he brings online to his home life with his children. All the insiders say his kids adore him.
But once they get older, it’s going to be hard to protect them from his online rants, some of which have targeted their own mother.
That’s probably one of the things worrying Kim the most.
