‘Stranger Things’ Star Millie Bobby Brown Is Engaged At Just 19-Years-Old

‘Stranger Things‘ actress Millie Bobby Brown might still play a high schooler in the hit Netflix series, but in real life, she’s getting engaged.

If you haven’t heard, Brown and her boyfriend Jake Bongiovi, announced their engagement on Instagram this week. She posted a photo of Jake hugging her from behind. It looks like the photo was snapped moments after she said yes, because she’s nearly in tears and she has a giant rock on that special finger.

Jake is the 20-year-old son of Jon Bon Jovi, so Brown is marrying into a fairly wealthy family. Brown captioned the post with a T-Swift lyric, “I’ve loved you 3 summers now, honey, I want ’em all.”

The two lovebirds met back in 2021 after talking to each other on Instagram for a bit. Things moved fast between them and within months, sources claimed they were inseparable.

Unsurprisingly, some of her fans had a problem with this engagement news because she’s only 19-years-old.

One person wrote: “Isn’t she only 19-years-old?”

Another fan commented: “Omg too young.”

A third user wrote: “Divorce coming in 1.5 years.”

We don’t necessarily disagree with the haters above, but at the same time, Brown has always given off a mature vibe. She’s not your typical 19-year-old, so perhaps she is ready for marriage, as crazy as that sounds at 19.

At the same time though, what is the rush? Are they religious? What is so cool about marriage? Why couldn’t they just be partners for a while?

It’s difficult to see this working out long term, but hey, stranger things have happened.
