Frank Ocean Pulls Out Of Coachella’s Second Weekend And People Are REALLY Upset!
Everyone was excited to learn Frank Ocean would be headlining Coachella this year. The 35-year-old artist doesn’t perform all that much, so everyone was trying to get tickets to these shows.
But unfortunately his first performance during the festival’s opening weekend was a complete dud. Fans were unimpressed and say Frank lacked energy. They were not at all pleased with his performance.
Following the show, reps for Frank claimed he suffered a leg injury before the show and it’s only gotten worse, so now he’s dropping out of Coachella’s second weekend.
Frank Ocean will not be performing at weekend 2 of Coachella. After suffering an injury to his leg on festival grounds in the week leading up to weekend 1, Frank Ocean was unable to perform the intended show but was still intent on performing, and in 72 hours, the show was reworked out of necessity. It was chaotic. There is some beauty in chaos. It isn’t what I intended to show but I did enjoy being out there and I’ll see you soon.
The bad news for Frank is that his fans do not give a sh*t about his injury. If you read the comments on Reddit, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube, people are slamming him. Some fans have commented that he obviously doesn’t care about them, while another fan talked about how they have cancer and spent over $3,000 to see Frank at Coachella.
A user responded to that fan and said, “I hope he reads this.”
Damn. They really want this dude to feel bad. They also pointed out that many other artists have performed with injuries before, including Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, who fractured his leg while performing, but still finished the set. He then performed a string of shows while wearing a boot.
So who will be taking Ocean’s place during this second weekend? Blink-182. They were a surprise addition to the lineup, and now they’ll be taking center stage on Sunday.
