Chance the Rapper’s Wife Shares Cryptic Quote After Chance Was Spotted Grinding On A Woman In Jamaica
Chance the Rapper is seen as a family man by most. After all, he’s been married to Kirsten Corley since 2018, but he’s known her since 2003 and they’ve been dating since 2013. They have two daughters together.
Throughout the years, Chance has made it very clear he’s a family/God first type of dude. In fact, he even refers to himself as a “Christian rapper” even though he doesn’t make Christian rap.
When I was going out and trying to fully give glory to God, in my setting, I feared that people would be dismissive of it, like, ‘This is Christian rap, I’m not trying to hear it.’ People were very accepting of it. Whether they say, ‘I’m an atheist, but I love Coloring Book‘ or they say, ‘I’m so glad I was able to get closer to God through this project.
But the 30-year-old rapper was caught doing some unholy things on camera while partying at Carnival 2023 in Jamaica. A video went viral showing the ‘Holy’ rapper grinding on a woman. He was also seen smacking her ass as she jiggled it against his groin.

This is obviously not a great look for a married man, especially one who has declared himself as a family man.
After the video went viral, his wife shared a cryptic message on her Instagram. She posted an excerpt from Maya Angelou’s essay, Home, which discusses how some people never mature.
Most people don’t grow up. It’s too damn difficult. What happens is most people get older. That’s the truth of it. They honor their credit cards, they find parking spaces, they have the nerve to have children, but they don’t grow up. Not really. They get older.
She captioned the post writing, “I hope one day, we all choose to grow up.”
We can’t say for sure that this was a direct message to her husband, but it seems pretty damn clear!
