Amanda Bynes Has Been Placed On Psychiatric Hold For The Second Time This Year

As most of you know, earlier this year, Amanda Bynes was detained in downtown Los Angeles by cops after she was walking the streets naked and trying to get into people’s cars. She allegedly told a witness to call the police because she was having a breakdown.

She was placed on a psychiatric hold following the incident and then reportedly entered some kind of rehab to get her meds right.

Unfortunately, the good vibes and meds didn’t last long. According to a recent report, the 37-year-old former Nickelodeon star was detained by police again this past weekend and taken into custody for a mental health evaluation. She failed the evaluation and was placed on another hold.

And once again, it was Bynes who called for help on herself. According to the sources, her friends and family also believed she was a danger to herself and those close to her.

For those who don’t know, the former actress has struggled with substance abuse for years and was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Back in March of 2022 she was released from an eight-year conservatorship, but like Britney Spears, it looks like she was not ready to be released.

It’s really sad to see her like this. If you were a kid in the ’90s and early 2000s, you probably grew up with Amanda on shows like ‘All That’ and ‘The Amanda Show’

Hopefully this time she can truly get the help she needs, but that bipolar disorder is no joke. She needs someone around her to make sure she’s taking the right medication.
