‘The Bear’ Star Jeremy Allen White Was Shocked By His Wife’s Divorce, Still Dealing With The Heartbreak

The past year has been full of ups and downs for 32-year-old actor Jeremy Allen White. He had major success with his show ‘The Bear‘ which premiered to rave reviews. He actually won a Golden Globe award for his performance in January.

And right after his win, his now estranged wife, Addison Timlin, praised the actor and gushed over his performance.

When we were 14 years old and I saw you perform for the first time in drama class, I couldn’t take my eyes off of you. Daddy winned another trophy, we’re so proud.

But then just a few weeks later, she shocked everyone by filing for a divorce. They had been married for just three years, but they had known each other since they were teens. So their connection was strong, or at least we thought.

After filing for the divorce, Timlin went on her Instagram account on Mother’s Day and called herself a single mom. For those who don’t know, White and Timlin have two daughters, a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old.

You can see it says “co-parent” in her post now, but that was only after she made an edit. Her original post said single mom. She only changed it after receiving lots of backlash.

A source who knows the couple says everyone was surprised by her post:

Addison changed her Instagram post because it wasn’t accurate, a lot of people were like ‘what are you talking about?’ Jeremy had no control about where he was filming. He filmed ‘The Bear’ in Chicago and any time he could, he came home. He is so involved in those girls’ lives, he adores his daughters.

And you know, I’m inclined to believe this source because I remember watching this video of White a year ago, and he seemed to be all about his family…

Sources say White is blindsided and heartbroken over the split, and to this day, he still doesn’t know exactly why she filed for a divorce, although friends say his busy scheduled played a major role.

The second season of The Bear is now streaming, and once again, it’s getting rave reviews.
