Britney Spears SLAPPED By NBA Star Victor Wembanyama’s Security, Police Report Has Been Filed!

No one saw this coming, including Britney Spears. The pop legend was reportedly slapped in the face by a member of Victor Wembanyama’s security team Wednesday night.

For those who don’t know, Victor is a 19-year-old basketball player from France. He went number one in the recent NBA draft, picked by the San Antonio Spurs. Some people believe he could turn out to be a legend in the making.

Anyway, this incident with Spears went down at celebrity hotspot Catch inside the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. According to an insider, Spears is a fan of Victor, so she went up to him and asked for a photograph.

Spears ‘tapped him on his back, right shoulder,’ according to the report, and the security guard then allegedly ‘backhanded her.’ She reportedly fell to the floor and her glasses were knocked off.

Yikes. They smacked her so hard her glasses flew off? That’s pretty crazy. Insiders say Britney was obviously embarrassed, so she walked back to her table and tried to compose herself. Victor reportedly attempted to smooth things over by telling her, “You understand how it is when you’re being swarmed by fans.”

After leaving the restaurant, Britney filed a police report for battery.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ Thursday the incident is not being handled as a criminal matter as the security guard — whom they identified as Spurs team security director Damian Smith — did not intentionally ‘hurt’ Spears but was rather trying to ‘defend’ Wembanyama.
